Aperture Noir is a small studio built on hard light, deep shadow, and faces that hold your attention. We shoot editorial, beauty, brand, and portrait work for clients who want images that don't look like everyone else's.
Choose a service, set your hours, and add what the job needs. This is a real working estimate — the final quote just adds travel if we leave the metro.
Our downtown studio is 2,400 square feet of blacked-out walls, cyc wall, hard modifiers, and a coffee machine that gets more use than any light we own. Everything is tethered, everything is backed up twice before you leave, and you see selects on a calibrated monitor before the day ends.
We keep the crew small on purpose. Fewer people in the room means the person in front of the camera stops performing and starts being themselves — which is where every photograph worth keeping comes from.
